Founded in 2020 by Burcu Görek, Bu Production is an Istanbul-based creative hub centered on sustainable arts and interdisciplinary performance. We aim to craft immersive experiences that foster intercultural dialogue through a diverse portfolio ranging from international collaborations to social advocacy projects.

I Woke Up With No Voice
Originally titled Mouthpiece; one of the finest newly written examples of contemporary and physical theatre. It has played to sold-out houses in Canada, the UK, the US and many European countries, and has been staged in Turkey since 2020.

Puppet Storytelling Workshop: A Landmark International Collaboration
On November 20–21, 2025, Bu Production proudly hosted an intensive international programme dedicated to puppet storytelling and dramaturgy. Supported by Teatroskop and the Institut Français and held at the Maltepe Yaşar Kemal Cultural Center, this two-day event served as a vital platform for cross-cultural artistic exchange.

Giving Life to the Material — A Masterclass with Tito Lorefice
On April 6–7, 2024, Bu Production hosted an intensive puppet workshop titled "Giving Life to the Material" at Alan Kadıköy. Led by the world-renowned Argentine puppeteer and Vice President of UNIMA International, Tito Lorefice, this 8-hour programme offered a profound deep dive into the art of puppetry and object theatre.
